Der Name weckt Assoziationen mit Deutschland, aufgewachsen und leben tut die gebürtige Äthiopierin jedoch in Finnland. Wer nun hinter so viel Multikulti dementsprechende Musik erwartet, liegt damit aber ziemlich falsch, denn Mirel Wagner vertont auf ihrem Debütalbum ihre eigene, ziemlich spröde Variante des amerikanischen Südstaaten-Folkblues. Gitarre und dazu eine gespenstische Stimme, die einem das Blut in den Adern gefrieren lässt. Mehr braucht’s auch hier nicht für die perfekte Vertonung trister Wintertage. Empfehlung!

Ganz schön morbider Text , aber nun gut es passt zu der Stimmung des Liedes , aber ich werde momentan noch nicht ganz schlau aus dem Text , daher habe ich mal ein Interview gelesen …..
